About me
I have spent my career and my life working to build a more just and compassionate world. I have done this through my professional work as a public education administrator, community organizer, organizational leader, and as a facilitator, coach, and consultant. I have also organized extensively in my own community and engaged in my own personal growth and development work to show up in alignment with my values and beliefs in all the roles I hold. Much of my background has focused on creating more equitable and inclusive workplaces, and I bring an anti-oppression lens to my coaching practice.
But here's what you won't see on my résumé: I'm a recovering high achiever and perfectionist. I've spent years afraid of failing, being judged, or "getting it wrong."
I've walked the path you're on now, feeling the weight of high-stakes decisions, the responsibility to create meaningful change, and the pressure to show up in alignment with my values and my very high expectations for myself in each moment.
So many of my roles have stretched me far beyond my comfort zone. I care deeply about my work and this passion drove me to push beyond exhaustion until I discovered the hard truth—burnout doesn't serve the mission, it derails it.
Now I work with clients who have their own version of this story.
Bringing compassion to our teams and ourselves allows us both to show up for the people around us and to sustain in our leadership roles. I believe strongly that when more of us are equipped to lead in this way we can model a different way of being, inspire others to see what’s possible, and ultimately transform the world.
